Creme Fraiche, Fruit Dip, Greek Yogurt, Vanilla Bean, Yogurt

Cabot Vermont makes a gourmet yogurt that is Greek Style Yogurt. This rich and creamy yogurt is a healthy substitute to your favorite ice cream. The international flavor of Greek yogurt is made by the Cabot Creamery Cooperative in Vermont, which is owned by dairy farmers. This New England dairy is owned by farming families, and churns out naturally delicious dairy products.

Cabot Greek Yogurt: Healthier Dessert

Cabot Greek Style yogurt can replace your favorite creamy ice cream. It is that rich and satisfying. The gourmet yogurt is creamy, dense, and flavored with natural tastes including honey and vanilla bean.

The Cabot Greek style yogurt would also be great as a fruit dip, in place of creme fraiche.

Because the Cabot Greek style yogurt is so rich, it is probably not the best choice for weight loss. In other words, I would not substitute my no-fat and organic yogurt, It can be a healthier dessert alternative to ice cream or other creamy desserts.

Cabot Greek Yogurt: Gourmet Yogurt Taste

I have tried a lot of different yogurts over the years, and Cabot is one of my favorite yogurt makers. I tend to avoid low fat yogurts with artificial sweeteners, opting for organic yogurts or all natural yogurts.

The Cabot Greek Yogurt is an all-natural Greek yogurt without artificial ingredients.

Cabot Greek Yogurt: Flavors

Normally when I try a new all natural yogurt I only buy one container. Because I had faith that this all natural product would be tasty, I bought the Honey flavor and the Vanilla Bean flavor.

The Honey flavor was a bit too sweet, but quite tasty. The vanilla bean contains real Vanilla bean specks. Both flavors were naturally colored without any fake or bright food colorings added to the natural yogurt.

Cabot Greek Style yogurt also comes in other dessert flavors including Chocolat and Dulce de Lechee. Fruit flavors of this all natural yogurt include Cherry, Strawberry and Tropical Fruit according to Cabot.

Packaging

This is one of the few containers that has an actual replaceable plastic cover. Because the cover can easily be replaced, you may be inclined to use this rich yogurt as a dip, or to only eat half of the container. The cover also makes it easier to re-use the plastic container for other food items.

Cabot Creamery Cooperative

Another reason I like the Cabot Creamery product, aside from divine taste and high satisfaction, is because it is made by a cooperative. A cooperative is not corporate America. A dairy cooperative, like the Cabot Creamery Cooperative is owned and run by a group of real farmers.

Any time I can support locally-owned and locally-made food product I will. This New England dairy in Cabot, Vermont is owned by 1,500 farm families according to Cabot.

The Cabot Creamery Cooperative was started in 1919, according to Cabot.
