A Reminder To Those Taking Xanax

Remember to take only the prescribed dose- nothing more, nothing less. Patients should be reminded to take it on the prescribed schedule as well. There is no need to double the dose in one sitting when a patient miss a dose in a single schedule. Instead, skip the missed dose and move on to the next scheduled one. Making the dose double in a single schedule would rather cause harm, as it could increase the likelihood of an overdose.
