Choose The Styling Technique
Are you capable of doing braids in your hair? Do you have patience enough to place a nice bun in the head? If you answered no to both of these, then your best bet is to start with the wet look, and scrunch and spray. Here is how.
First step- Wash your hair with a good shampoo. Then condition. Choose a mild hold hair spray, and a good scrunch spray like Aussie in the purple plastic bottle, or Clairol Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl Scrunching Gel.
Second step- Squeeze the excess water out.
Third step- Apply some scrunch spray to the entire head. Start at the roots and work your way down to the bottom. While placing the product on squeeze the sections.
Fourth step- Flip your head upside down. Put a diffuser onto a blowdryer, and place up to the hair at least 2-3 inches away from the scalp.
Using your fingers scrunch, and twist small sections of the hair. DO NOT fully dry the head complete. Make sure to do it half way about 80% should be dry.
Fifth step- Flip your head back up, squeeze the sections again. Spray with hair spray.
To go to sleep, place the hair up using a nice size hair clip. Try to get most of the hair into the clip. Then place a silk scarf over it. When you wake up, freshen it up with your fingers, and a little bit of water. Spray and your ready to go.

I prefer doing this style half wet. When your hair is fully dry, you can definitely spruce it up. By adding a few squirts of the product and your fingers.
