Chainsaw Creek Haunted Attraction, in its second year running, tells the story of a supernatural ghost town brought to life during Halloween. Four haunted attractions frighten victims visiting Chainsaw Creek. Black Swamp offers challenging terrain to navigate. Under the big top tent are creepy clowns and scary games at the Chainsaw Creek Carnevil haunted house. Not for the faint of heart are realistic props along with blood, guts, and gore in the Butcher Shop, as well as the criminal ghosts and spirits spooking the Haunted Prison.

Haunted Trail of Horror

This terrifying haunted trail begins with the Tunnel of Doom as guests begin their three quarter of a mile journey into darkness. Monsters, horror movie characters, creepy freaks, and more frightening characters scare guests trying to traverse the haunted trail appropriately located next to a cemetery.

Haunted Halloween Trains

Haunted Halloween Trains are a popular Halloween haunted attraction presented by the Toledo Lake Erie and Western Railway and Museum. Many family members enjoy riding the trains dressed in costumes to celebrate the Halloween season. The trains run the last two weekends of October and the first weekend of November, 2007. Due to the popularity, purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.

Terrortown’s scariest haunted attraction is House of the Dead, with ghosts and spirits led by Mayor wormface. New special effects and a new slaughter house improve the show in its 11th year running. The haunted house includes a blood and gore throughout the 20 room asylum with a 50 foot black hole. Terrortown’s other haunted attractions are The Cave and Big Top Terror.

Terror at the Westwood, in an old school house with a mysterious past, is located in the corner of a rural northwest Ohio cornfield near Bowling Green. This haunted house is now appropriate for all ages with new, lower prices for the 2007 Halloween season.

The Fear Factory warns visitors, this is a haunted house, ‘where fear is a factor.’ Proceeds from The Fear Factory benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Northwest Ohio. This haunted attraction features a creepy character named Skully whose purpose is to frighten visitors in spine chilling ways.

The Haunted Hydro

The Haunted Hydro is in its 18th year of frightening guests in an old hydro electric power plant dating back to 1911. New haunted attractions include Mid-Evil Stonehenge and The Legend of Bloody Mary Ghost Show.
The Haunted Hydro has received national and regional acclaim as a top haunted house destination in northwest Ohio. The Haunted Hydro won Best Cast Award for 2007 in the ‘Tourist Attractions and Parks Magazine.’ Halloween vendors, concessions, a tarot reader, and ‘The Wheel of Misfortune,’ a free, interactive game show, add to the festive, haunting atmosphere.

Ghostly Manor

Skateworld in Sandusky invites guests into the Ghostly Manor Thrill Center between May and October, but is most popular during the Halloween season. Four haunted attractions are offered including the Ghostly Manor Haunted Mansion, an XD 3D Theater, roller skating at the rink at Skateworld, and the novelty shop, Ghostly Gifts. The Ghostly Manor Haunted House is quite terrifying and not recommended for children under the age of 10, but the XD 3D Theater is more appropriate for children and offers fun thrills for anyone over 40 inches.
