Delicious, Artsy 4th of July Party Menu

Fruit Pizza, Party Menu, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Veggie Pizza

This is a delicious party menu for the 4th of July or anytime. It is especially fun and refreshing for summer.

You can provide liquid beverages such as:

For the non-drinker’s lemonade is always a hit. Ice tea or soda pop and juices for the kids are great.

In lieu of salads you can make a fantastic vegetable pizza.

Vegetable Pizza Recipe.

Even those men who you can’t get to eat veggies love this one.

Take two or three packages of Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Rolls and press on to a Pam sprayed baking stone, (I use Pampered Chef) press the rolls onto the stone like you are making a pizza. For two pizzas I use 3 cans of the rolls.

Bake at approximately 375 degrees until done, not too brown.

When it is cooled, you can spread this mixture on it.

Two 8 oz. Packages of Philadelphia Cream Cheese,

Dill to taste, and garlic is optional. I love spices; you don’t have to use them.

Hidden Valley Ranch dressing about a bottle for a double batch. Mix it thoroughly and when the crust is cool smooth it on.

The hardest part is deciding what veggies to add. You can buy them already chopped, I prefer to clean and chop myself. I love green onions, shredded carrots, grape tomatoes, celery, (it is especially delicious) broccoli, cauliflower and shredded cheese if you like. I love to put different colors of sliced bell pepper on mine too. Sometimes I cut the peppers in flower shapes, by slicing through the middle and then put little grape tomatoes in the middle as decoration. It is fun to decorate your veggie pizza to your liking.

If you like hot dogs, hamburgers and brats you can grill them. Steak is always great.

If you are a vegetarian, you can make a meal out of the veggie pizza and fruit and still have room for a delicious fruit pizza.

You use the same concept as the veggie pizza only you use frozen sugar cookie dough. Roll it out on a sprayed baking stone and bake at about 375 degrees until it is done.

Mix up an 8 oz. Package of Philadelphia Cream Cheese and powdered sugar, a dash of salt and a splash of Lemon Juice. Add enough powdered sugar to make it spreadable the consistency of frosting. When your dough is cool, spread it on as thick as you desire.

Have washed sliced strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, other berries if you desire. It is your pizza add what you like. This can be another work of art. Black and red raspberries and even bananas are wonderful on this pizza. Take a little bit of lemon juice and sprits the bananas if you use them, as they will brown. If you want to be really festive use blueberries and strawberries to make an American flag. You can also use a boiled egg slicer to make strawberry flowers. You slice the strawberry almost through and then splay out the strawberry. It is very pretty.

You have a complete, satisfying and beautiful party meal complete. You can provide rolls or bread and butter if you like and you will have a lovely and artistic meal to please any family or crowd.
