I really love roulette and have won big dollars several times gambling on the game. I have also lost but I have found a few keys that help keep me on the plus side.
Most people play specific numbers based on birthdays, anniversaries, lucky numbers etc…
I have to admit that I am one of those. I play 3, 23 and 33 every single time. I also play other numbers but my biggest wins have been on the number 33.
The first thing you need to know if you are playing roulette is the wheel. You need to know which numbers fall near other numbers on the wheel. This is important because often numbers around the same area will come out several times in a row. That is usually because of the way the dealer roles the ball.
If I see an 18, 6, or 16 come out, I know they are close to my 33 and I double my bet on that number. I also bet on those numbers again as you would be surprised how many times numbers come out twice in a row.
You should study the board. You should also right down a copy of the order of numbers on the roulette board. Just make a circle and put all the numbers around it and keep it with you. You can do this ahead of time as the roulette wheel numbers are the same pattern on every wheel.
The second thing is to watch the pattern. If 33 is your favorite number and it has not come out and no numbers around it have come out, chances are it is NOT coming out for a while. Numbers tend to come in cycles. You need to find the cycle on the board before you bet. On the other hand if you find a pattern (remember no pattern works every single time) you need to play the numbers over and over again.
Every roulette table shows a board of the numbers that have come out. They also show if it was red or black. When I play red or black, I bet on the same color that just came out. The same color tends to come out up to three times in a row. See if the board shows a pattern. If it does, stick with it until the pattern changes. Then wait and search for another pattern. The same strategy goes for betting even or odd numbers.
Another way to play roulette is to bet on which third of the board the number will be on – low numbers/middle numbers or high numbers. Once again it is all in the patterns. Have the numbers been high numbers? Then stick with those. Do not try betting against the patterns and don’t pay attention to what anyone else is playing. Some people bet the opposite of the previous color that came out. It makes no sense. Find your pattern and stick with it.
Another thing to keep an eye on is the dealer. Is there a different dealer spinning the wheel on each turn? If so, find another table. Try to get the same person spinning the wheel every time. Believe me, it is a big help.
Also, if you are winning with a dealer who is spinning the wheel and they take a break, you need to take a break too. I’ve lost a good portion of winnings when a new person comes on duty. If the old dealer returns it does not mean the same numbers will come out again. It means you must once again find the pattern by researching the numbers. The pattern will stay the same but the numbers have all changed.
If your number does come out, that does not mean it is time to quit. Often that number will come out 3 or 4 more times in the next hour to half-hour. I’ve played my three numbers which I must admit tend to all come out together in a half hour span (or not at all) for hours and won hundreds. You need to quit when your number stops coming out, you’ve run out of money or you’ve won enough to make you happy.
I’ve often heard people say the chances of winning at roulette are some of the slimmest of all the games at a casino. That may be, but the odds change dramatically when you find the right pattern.
I found a crazy pattern at one table that every time the number 30 came out, the number 5 followed. I don’t normally play either number but spotted the pattern and won a lot of money on the number 5 more than once at that table.
You may want to go and view the game for a while before playing. It does not hurt to watch the numbers, dealers etc…
I search for a board with at least one of my numbers on it before I sit down.
You do not need to have numbers you want to play in advance. You may just watch what comes out and play the numbers around those numbers or wait for the repeat numbers.
I’m not going to tell you how much to play as every gambler has different limits, but be sure you know the table limit before you sit down.
