This skirt, which falls below the knee, is machine washable. It also has a slightly flared design with a wide waistband and an attractive off-center tie. It is available in sizes 1X to 4X. Currently it is on sale for $14.50. The regular price is $19.50.
Old Navy customer service informed me that the store does not do alterations on merchandise.

Among the plus size summer skirts found at Target, the “Novelty Print Skirt” comes in a green floral design and is priced at $19.99. It is a nice plus size summer skirt available in sizes 16W to 28W. This skirt falls just below the knee and is made of 100% cotton. It may be machine washed in cold water. For comfortable wear it offers and extra wide waistband with a side zipper.
Upon calling Target customer service I was informed that Target does not offer alterations.

After calling a Bloomingdale’s store, I was told that if you purchase an item online, you can bring it to a Bloomingdale’s store with your receipt and they will do alterations for an additional charge. Be sure to inquire at your local Bloomingdale’s if this service is available.

This plus size summer skirt has a back zipper and costs $16.64. It is 100% polyester, is machine washable and may be tumble dried. Wal-Mart does not provide alterations.
