Top 5 Green Teas

Green Teas, Lipton, Lipton Iced Tea, Nestea, Snapple

Green teas are becoming an increasingly popular beverage for both those looking for a healthier alternative to soda and those just looking for something new to drink. Almost every beverage company from snapple to lipton have begun making their own green teas in order to compete on the green tea market. With so many different brands of green teas out there, it is hard for consumers to decide which company makes the best green tea. Here is a look at the top 5 best green tea, specifically looking at green teas made by ice tea companies.

5. Lipton Honey Green Tea – Lipton makes a surprisingly pleasant green tea that comes in the same bottle as their regular iced tea. They offer a few different flavors ranging from honey green tea to citrus flavored green tea. There is also apparently a raspberry flavored green tea somewhere out there, though I have never been able to get my hands on this one. Lipton’s green tea is a slightly healthier alternative to their popular iced tea and does not give up much in the flavor department at all.

4. Snapple Green Tea – Snapple also jumped aboard the green teas bandwagon, adding a line of green teas of their own. Made from the best stuff on Earth”, Snapple offers 4 different types of green teas, ranging from Original Green Tea and Diet Green Tea to Asian Pear Green Tea and Mango Green Tea. The Original Green Tea has a very similar taste to Lipton’s version, though it seems a little bit less strong and does not leave much of an aftertaste either. Ultimately, however, it is Snapple’s variety of flavors that make give its green teas and edge.

3. Nestea Green Tea – Nestea’s green teas have a very unique flavor and for good reason. Nestea green teas contain a lot more sugar than most other green teas, which may or may not be a good thing depending on your perspective. Though they are saturated in sugar, Nestea’s green teas are also loaded with a ton of antioxidants and other valuable nutrients.

2. Brisk Green Tea – Brisk, though part of the Lipton company, also had their own lines of green tea, which were some of the best tasting on the market. Brisk’s apple green tea is one of the most magically tasting green teas out there, and has its very own health benefits as well.

1. Arizona Green Tea and Apple Juice – On the test of taste, no green tea out there can beat Arizona’s Half Green Tea and Half Apple Juice mix. You can taste both the perfect hint of green tea in addition to just the right amount of apple juice. When cold, the two combine to make an entirely new flavor that does nothing but make your taste buds happy. It is also by far the most refreshing green tea on the market, as I constantly find myself choosing these green teas over Gatorade after a hot summer day of basketball.
