The Top Exercises for Getting Rid of Belly Fat

Fun Exercise, Get Rid of Belly Fat

After having my third child, I had a bump on my belly, one that I liked to call my baby bump. The problem was that my husband had this same bump and I jokingly would tell him that it was from sympathy that he had for me while I was pregnant. Our goal was easy but the work, we feared would be hard. We both decided that we wanted to get rid of the belly fat that seemed to be growing on a daily basis. These are some of the exercises that we used to get rid of belly fat and the best part is that you don’t have to buy any expensive equipment.

The Superman

This is actually a fun exercise to do and it can even help with back pain. We tried this after a doctor had told me that it was one of the best exercises that he has tried to stretch and strengthen the belly muscles.

In order to do this exercise, you will need to lie down on your stomach with your arms in front of you in a straight line. Lift your legs and arms for two seconds and try to keep your torso and nose on the ground.

I also do this exercise if I am in a hurry and don’t have time to do any of the other ones that are on my exercise to-do list because it does seem to be the best.

Push-Ups

If you don’t know what a push-up is, you must have been living under a rock. Push-ups are very beneficial and help to strengthen your upper body. While you are doing your push-ups, try to keep your stomach muscles tight so that you can get rid of some of the belly fat.

Triceps dips

This is a really easy to do exercise that will help to strengthen the muscles in your arms, legs, and if you hold your stomach muscle in with each dip, it could help your belly fat. To do this exercise, grab a sturdy chair and scoot your butt to off of the edge of it while holding on to the corners with your hands. Bend and straighten your arms behind you while you dip your butt up and down.

Hoola Dance

This is probably my favorite exercise of all times. It is similar to using a hoola hoop but without the actual hoola. Start by placing your feet hip width apart and moving your hips in a circular motion.

The trick to doing most of these exercises is to try and keep the muscles in your stomach tight while you are doing them. Doing exercises should be something that you do at least three times a week without over doing yourself.

Always consult a doctor if you have any medical conditions, are pregnant, or concerned about the exercises that you are doing. If you feel any pain that concerns you, seek the help of a doctor.
