Six Flags Maryland is located at 13710 Central Avenue Bowie/Mitchellville, MD 20721. The hours it is open varies per month and season, but it is usually open during the day from April until October. The days the park is open increases as the weather becomes warmer, and decreases as the weather becomes cooler. General admission to get into the park is $49.99. General admission for those under 48 inches (known as “junior” admission) is $34.99. Children under the age of two years old will get in for free. You can also look into online rates, group rates, and season passes.

There are many rides to check out at the Six Flags in Maryland. There is a pretty good chance you will have your children with you. There are plenty of rides designed just for kids, including Sylvester’s Pounce and Bounce (which is in Looney Tunes Movie Town), Whistlestop Train, and Pepe Lepew’s Tea Party. Maybe you want to go on a ride with your whole family. The family rides in this park include Coyote Creek Crazy Cars, Riddle Me This, The Penguin’s Blizzard River, and Shipwreck Falls. Are you looking for a little more excitement? Check out the selection of thrill rides in the park! The thrill rides include Ride of Steel, The Joker’s Jinx, The Mind Eraser, and the Batwing. Do not forget to check out the water park in Six Flags. This will give you a fun way to cool off! The water park has a few fun areas for children and families to play in the water. This include Buccaneer Beach and Crocodile Cal’s Caribbean Beach House. You can also take a dip in the Hurricane Bay wave pool! Of course you may be looking to go down a few water slides. If you have never gone down a water slide before, then start off with the Bamboo Chutes. The Bamboo Chutes are smaller water slides. You can also check out the Hammerhead, Calypso Cannonballs, and Bahama Blast water slides. When you are ready to try a huge water funnel, you can try the Tornado water slide.

If you get hungry during the day, there are plenty of places to get something to eat in the park. If you are looking to get a meal, you can check out Beachside Burgers, Coronado’s Subway. Hurricane Hot Dog. Heritage House Food Court. You may only be looking to get a snack or something to drink. If this is the case, then you can check out Big Top Funnel Cakes, Cold Stone Limited, Dockside Fries, Liberty Funnel Cake, and The Ice House. It is recommended that you go on the rides before you eat. If you are planning to on any rides after you eat, wait awhile to let your stomach settle. This will keep you from getting sick.

The Six Flags in Maryland does offer a few events to check out. Of course this includes summer concerts right there in the park. You can also check out the education events, which will help you and your little one learn about subjects such as math and science. There are also outdoor classroom and home schooling events, so this way everyone can learn! If you have a Boy Scout or Girl Scout in the family, check out the events designed just for them! There will also be holiday and seasonal events.

Don’t forget to stop by the gift shops before you leave! There are quite a few gift shops to check out, which include Daily Planet Gifts, Attitudes, and Six Flags Kids. The stores sell various items and souvenirs, such clothing, jewelry, accessories, toys, beach towels, and more! You can even find stores that sell treats such as candy, fudge, candy apples, and other sweets!
