Personal Account
Recently, I was prescribed this medication for an injury in which I sustained, and to assist in the management of the symptoms that I experience with Fibromyalgia. I am normally quite sensitive to different kinds of medications, as a result of the Fibromyalgia. Normally, prescriptions leave me feeling quite ill. Some prescription medications even put me to the point in which I am vomiting. However, with Robaxin, I did not experience these symptoms.
The first dose of Robaxin that I took, which was two 750MG pills at a time, it took approximately thirty minutes before I could feel the effects of the medication. The severe pain that I was experiencing as a result of the injury that I endured started to subside rather quickly after this time frame. While I did not experience any sickness with this prescription, I did feel slightly “off balance”. I am assuming that since this is a muscle relaxer that this symptom is normal.
Furthermore, when I took my nightly dose of this prescription, I was able to fall to sleep rather quickly and I rested well throughout the entire night. This is a rare occurrence considering the Fibromyalgia often interferes with my sleep cycles. However, the Robaxin was effective enough to reduce the pain that I normally experience, and it allowed me to rest rather well.
If you sustain an injury that involves your muscles, or suffer from a condition that leaves you in a lot of pain, like Fibromyalgia, I would highly recommend that you discuss the option of Robaxin. It seems to be quite effective and it does not appear to have a lot of negative side effects.
