Remembering Rainbow Brite

Ben 10, Hootie and the Blowfish, India Arie, Rugrats

I was born in 1977, and fondly remember alot of chidlren’s shows from the 1980s. One of my favorite cartoons was Rainbow Brite. Recently I looked back into Rainbow Brite and found that Bettina Bush was the voice of Rainbow Brite. I was really young back then, so of course I hadn’t a clue who did the voice-over until recently. Bettina Bush will release her debut album, January 2008. See her official website at www.bettinabushmusic.com .

It is a shame that you cannot find Rainbow Brite on TV anymore. I would love for my daughter to be able to watch this TV program. I also looked into buying the movies (VHS) at places like Ebay, the prices are much overpriced! VHS aren’t the best formats anymore, so it is a shame to have to pay up to $50 for a VHS.

I am hoping that eventually Rainbow Brite will appear again on TV. It was such an original show! Bring back Rainbow Brite!
