According to reports from Entertainment news the films price tag is about six million dollars and is about the late salsa singer Hector Lavoe. It is being produced by Jennifer Lopez herself. This is the first film that the so far happy couple has made together. According to entertainment reports Marc Anthony is starring as Lavoe, and Jennifer is playing Puchi. This is the first film that Jennifer has also produced so if she is hoping to make a name for herself as a producer this is her chance to do it.
During the filming of the movie one of the real life characters that Jennifer is portraying died suddenly, so she never got to see the end result of the film. Jennifer has stated that this is the second time she will be playing a real life person. Previously she played Selena. According to Jennifer the women known as the original Puchi wanted her to play the role. It is no secret that Jennifer Lopez likes to work with the men in her life, and so it is no different for her current husband Marc Anthony. One thing that is for sure is that these two seem to be very happy together. Critics who have seen the movie are saying that it may be another one of Jennifer Lopez’s flops. Many of her fans were very disappointed with her role in Gigli, and critics are saying that this is somewhat similar. Even though Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez seem to think that there is some chemistry between the two of them, critics seem to think differently.
It is definitely no secret that fans have been disappointed with some of the latest music and films from Jennifer. Of course Marc Anthony seems to be doing just the same as he always have. Of course fans will just have to go and see the movie for them to see if they are happy with Jennifer Lopez’s current movie production.
