Ashwagandha, Reproductive Issues

Ashwagandha is a powerful medicinal herb that grows throughout India. India herbalist use the herb to help treat health conditions such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, reproductive issues and arthritis.I personally use this herb for relieving fatigue, stress, panic attacks and weakness of the muscles and joints. However, the way I like to use the herb to receive the medicinal properties from it is by making a medicinal tea that is healing and nourishing to the body.

Why is Ashwagandha Used for Healing the Body?

Ashwagandha is used for healing the body because it contains powerful antioxidants in its roots that are known as adaptogens that help the body resist physically and mental stresses on the body in a healthier way. When the body is able to handle stress in a healthier way physically and mentally are immune system and nervous system stays healthy and strong so they can fight off illnesses and mental disorders better so we can be happy and healthy.Other medicinal properties the herb contains are anti-inflammatory, anti-cancerous, sedative, anti-malarial, and anti-arthritic and pain relieving. The herb is also used to help those with low sex drives because it has the ability to boost the libido in both females and males naturally.

Make a Healing Ashwagandha Medicinal Tea

The way I make a potent healing Ashwagandha medicinal tea is by taking a half cup of dried Ashwagandha roots, which you can find at any herbal store and place them in a pot with a half gallon of water. Then I bring the water and roots to a roaring boil for a good 20 minutes to help draw out the medicinal properties from the herb, which will turn the water a golden yellow. Once the water has reached a golden yellow color, you know the medicinal tea is ready to be removed from the stove and to drink sweetened with honey or milk. However, I prefer to drink the tea as is because it has this mellow earthy flavor to it I find pleasant and calming.

To get the medicinal benefits from the tea to help relieve my fatigue, stress, panic attacks and weakness I do drink up to three cups or more until I begin to feel relief. Usually within my second cup of Ashwagandha tea, I do begin to feel relief from stress and panic attacks and begin to get a boost of energy back so I do not feel so weak and fatigued throughout my body.I also like to sip on the tea when I have a migraine headache because it acts as a natural sedative and pain reliever and really helps ease my migraine away naturally within 30 minutes.I even drink Ashwagandha tea after seizures to help boost up my energy levels and to help me recover quickly from the draining seizure attacks. However, this may not help all seizures sufferers bounce back quickly so make sure you discuss this herb with an herbalist like I did before using it to help recover from seizures naturally. You can also drink a cup of this tea daily to help treat type 2 diabetes, cancer, arthritis, heart disease and reproductive issues. You can even drink the tea daily to help keep you youthful and beautiful naturally because the antioxidants in Ashwagandha tea have the ability to fight off the free radical cells and stress that cause rapid aging.

Ashwagandha is an herb with minimum side effects when used properly. However, some people have been known to have allergic reactions to this herb. Those that take this herb in high doses will experience vomiting, nausea, heartburn, diarrhea and possibly even loss of motor functions.
