Getting into Shape

They will achieve different results from running up some hill versus running on the sidewalk. Your strength training frequency will depend on what you want to get out your training routine. Less frequent workouts are required to develop larger, stronger muscles. However, those aiming to be lean, mean, and defined will more frequently stress the muscles in a strength training session.

Don’t do crunches as your sole abdominal exercise. You should not waste your time with crunches if you are trying to lose weight, it takes a quarter million of them to lose a pound! So, if you’re only doing crunches, you aren’t doing as much work as you could be. Do a variety of abdominal exercises too.
