DIY Thank You gift # 2 – Chocolate Peanut Butter Treats – $ 10.00
Supplies needed:
Almond Bark – If you don’t know what this, click HERE
Decorative Tin
Wax Paper
Candy Sprinkles
Double Boiler
This is a delicious DIY Thank You gift for any chocolate lover. These treats will love adorable in a decorative tin, covered with pretty tissue paper. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
1. Spread a very small amount of peanut butter on a Ritz cracker. Then top it with another cracker, making a sandwich. Repeat this process until you get the desired amount of sandwiches.

4. When the chocolate is entirely melted, place a few of the peanut butter sandwiches in. Be sure to completely cover each one. Set it on waxed paper.
5. Add the sprinkles while the chocolate is still soft.
6. Once you’re done, wait till the chocolate is set. (when you touch it, it doesn’t stick on your fingers)
7. Line the decorative tin with tissue paper and place the treats inside.
DIY Thank You gift # 3 – Memory Trinket Box – Total Cost $ 20.00
Supplies needed:
Unfinished wood box
Cardstock paper
(2) Coordinating colors of acrylic paint
Spray Gloss Glaze – If you don’t know what this is, click HERE
Personal photograph
Tacky craft glue
Scrapbook embellishments
Adding a personal photograph to this DIY Thank You gift, will really add a personal touch. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
1. Examine your wood box and find a natural break, where you can separate the two colors. For instance, paint the top one color and the bottom another. Then, apply your paint in an even coat on the outside of the box.
2. Allow it to dry and then paint the inside of the box the same way.
3. After the box is entirely dry, measure the inside of the box. Cut the cardstock paper to those measurements and glue them to the bottom and top only. (Don’t cover up the sides , you want the paint to show)
4. If you can fit a picture on the top of the box, glue it there. If you don’t have space on the top, then place the picture inside the box.
5. Attach the scrapbook embellishments to the sides of the box. Play with them and see where they look the best before permanently affixing them to the box.
6. In a ventilated area, spray the finishing coat of spray gloss glaze. This will protect the box and keep the pain from chipping. It will also give it a very pretty, glossy finish.
DIY Thank You gift idea # 4 – Coffee Lovers Gift Basket – Total cost $ 20.00
Supplies needed:
Wicker Basket (wide, but not deep)
Coffee Cup
Assorted Hard Candy
Assorted 2oz bags of coffee
Box of shortbread or butter cookies
Floral Styrofoam
Hot glue gun
Decorative Ribbon
Shredded paper basket fill
This Coffee Lover’s Gift Basket is easy to assemble, but looks expensive. If you don’t think coffee would be well received, than mix the ingredients to make a Tea Lovers basket. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
1. Cut the floral Styrofoam to about half it’s original height and hot glue it to the front part of the basket.
2. Place the box of cookies in the back of the basket.
3. Arrange the assorted hard candy inside the coffee cup. Place the coffee cup in front of the box of cookies. Press it down into the Styrofoam to hold it in place.
4. Arrange the small bags of coffee on either side of the coffee cup. I would recommend using four small bags, placing two on either side of the coffee cup.
5. Measure the width of the basket and cut the ribbon to fit. Hot glue it to the basket. Tie a small bow out of the same ribbon, and glue it to the front.
6. Fill in the holes with the shredded basket fill.

Packet of cress seeds (cress is an edible pungent leaf)
This is an adorable DIY Thank You gift idea. The terra cotta plants will resemble a caterpillar when complete. Here’s what you’ll need to do.
