Everyone knows the cast of the CBS series CSI: Miami. The show has been on CBS since September of 2002. Horatio Caine and the crew from the Miami-Dade County Crime Lab, have been catching killers for 8 years now. CBS producers have made a few changes through the years, but the majority of cast members remain the same. CBS has made a few subtle changes, but they realize that the spin-off of Crime Scene Investigation is a gold mine. CBS also has CSI: NY, and CSI: Las Vegas. Lets find out what the cast members of CSI: Miami did, before the big CBS hit series.
Jonathon Togo plays detective Ryan Wolfe on the CBS series CSI: Miami. The 32 year old Togo has been on CSI: Miami since 2004. Before the CBS hit series, Togo appeared in theatrical plays. His best performance might have been in My Country’s Good. Besides plays, Togo had appeared on shows like Mystic River and Law and Order. Togo also played in Special Unit 2, where he had an extended role. The CBS series CSI: Miami has given Togo some very good exposure.
Eva Larue plays Detective Natalie Boa Vista on CSI: Miami. The 43 year old actress came to CBS, via daytime television. Eva Larue portrayed Dr. Maria Santos Grey, on All My Children. She was on the popular soap from 1993 to 1997. Larue rejoined the cast in 2002, working on the set of All My Children until 2005. She also made a special appearance on All My Children earlier this year, for a special anniversary show. Eva Larue has played Boa Vista since 2005.
Rex Linn plays Detective Frank Tripp, on the CBS series CSI: Miami. The 53 year old veteran actor got his first major role, playing a serial killer in the 1989 movie, Night Game. Linn portrayed serial killer Floyd Epps. Linn later went on to play a crooked Treasury Agent, in Cliffhanger. Rex Linn is usually cast as a tough cop. He has appeared on many series for single episodes. Rex Linn was a vice-president of a bank before he got into acting. Linn is also an avid college football fan.
Adam Rodriguez plays the ever popular, Delco, on CSI: Miami. His role has changed as he isn’t part of the crime lab anymore, but CBS keeps him in the thick of things. In real life, Rodriguez is 35 years old. The CSI heart throb was on the X-Files, as an extra. He has played in police drama’s like NYPD Blue and Law and Order. Rodriguez is also in many music video’s. Rodriguez can be seen on Ugly Betty, where he plays the character of Bobby.
Emily Proctor plays the lovely, Detective Calleigh Duquesne on the CBS hit series CSI: Miami. She is 41 years old. Emily has had small roles in popular movies like Breast Men, and Jerry Maguire. One may also recognize her from the popular series, The West Wing. She played Ainsley Hayes in that show. Proctor enjoys fitness. She has competed in many triathlons. Emily Proctor still has her best performances ahead of her.
David Caruso is the star of CSI: Miami. Caruso is 54 years old. As Horatio Caine, he runs the Miami-Dade Crime Lab. Horatio has trademark sunglasses, and always a clever quip. Caruso has been around a long time. He started out playing small roles, working his way up. In the 1980’s, Caruso appeared in some episodes of the popular, Hill Street Blues. Caruso played Tommy Mann, leader of the Shamrock gang. In 1993 Caruso wound up playing Detective John Kelly, on NYPD: Blue. The character was a big hit, but Caruso bolted the show, early in it’s second season. Caruso tried the big screen, as a leading man. The move backfired, as Caruso bombed at the box office. Since 2002, David Caruso has been working for CBS, on CSI: Miami.
