Madame Janette’s is an elegant romantic restaurant that specializes in grilled steaks, fresh seafood dishes, and delicious pasta dishes. Some of the specials include the prime tenderloin served with sauteed onions, cheese and mushrooms, or the almond grouper with a creamed spinach sauce. The dining room is cozy and colorful with wicker island furnishings, soft lighting, red tablecloths, and an outdoor dining area on the patio. Madame Janette’s has a full bar, and they have a very good wine list that changes often with many international varieties. The restaurant is open for dinner daily from 5:30pm until 10:00pm. Reservations are a must.

The Papiamento Restaurant is a family owned restaurant located in an early 19th century Aruban farmhouse. When you venture inside you will discover a romantic restaurant with antique Dutch furnishings and antiques. The restaurant features Caribbean cuisine at it’s finest. You will want to order the romantic house specialty, a seafood stew served in a clay pot for two. If you would like to gaze at the stars with the one you love, simply dine outside by the pool. There are small tables in the garden by the pool. Many evenings, the Ellis family will have floating candles lit in the pool giving it a lovely glow. Papiamento is open Monday through Saturday for dinner. Reservations are suggested.
