Baseball Bat, Kids Bathroom

This simple base ball bat towel bar is a great way to add some cute storage in a kid’s bathroom. You can install this simple baseball bat towel bar in minutes and you can even let the kids help. Don’t stop at just a baseball bat towel bar, you could also have a baseball inspired shower curtain and even some baseball glove bathmats!

To make this simple baseball bat towel bar you will need:

1 Baseball Bat
Power Drill
½. I like to lay the “front” of the baseball bat down. Now, lay a piece of duct tape across each end of the baseball bat. This will hold it in place while you are predrill holes for the screws.

Drill each hole about 1/2 inch deep into the baseball bat towel bar. Do not drill through the baseball bat. You will need one hole on each end of the bat. Make sure they are level, or it will make hanging the baseball towel bar difficult.

Now, install your L brackets on the baseball bat. Use the short wood screws to do this. I find it best to leave the baseball bat duct taped down. Use a hand held screw driver to slowly twist the screws in. Now, you want your L brackets to face Down, so that when hung on the wall the baseball bat is resting on top of the L bracket. Choose larger L brackets if you think you need a lot of space behind your towel bar.

Now, hold your baseball bat towel bar up where you want to hang it in the bathroom. Place a level on top to make sure it is level. Now, mark a dot through the L bracket holes. Predrill a hole into the bathroom wall for the well anchor to insert into.

You are finished! You can hang towels, hand cloths, and even magazines on this simple baseball bat towel bar.

For a little more fun and detail you could pre drill a hole in the end of the baseball bat towel bar. Slowly twist in a double ended screw. Now, slowly twist on a baseball to the screw. You only need about ½ inch of the screw to attach the baseball.

For added baseball inspired details in the bathroom try hanging two of the baseball bat towel bars on the wall. Make one a little higher and little to the left on the wall. You can use at top baseball bat towel bar for the hand towels and wash clothes.
