Review of Balmex Diaper Rash Cream

Diaper Cream, Johnson and Johnson, Kids Bathroom, Olive Leaf Extract

The reason I am writing this article about Johnson and Johnson’s Balmex is because this was the only product we used out of this Johnson and Johnson gift bag. One day, we ran out of Triple paste and couldn’t find any in either of the stores located near us. My daughter had a really bad rash, while we waited for our Triple paste online order to arrive, I decide to use Johnson’s and Johnson’s Balmex. I had no choice, it was the only diaper rash cream we had in the house.

My daughter’s rash was in her inner thighs area more than any where else on her lower body. I gently washed her clean, dried her after giving her a bath and began to place the Balmex cream on her irritated rashed areas. Putting Balmex on her irritated rash didn’t make the rash worst by putting it on but I did notice the next day the rash was the same. The rash was sore, reddish and still simply irritated. There wasn’t any kinda of healing nor change in redness nor sensitivity.

I am use to having, less sensitivity, redness and decrease in the rash after putting Triple paste on it. Needless to say that when I received my Triple paste order, my daughter rash was all taken care of. Balmex is not for extreme rashes at all. Months later, my husband developed a rash on his bottom from his underwear. We have been washing our clothes with Tide and letting our clothes air died. Some of our clothes have become quite hard. I have also let my husband do the laundry, I think it is time to tell him to select an extra rinse cycle on the washer before taking the clothes out of the washer.

The harding of the clothing is due to extra detergent still lingering on the clothes. When his mother said he has an extremely sensitive behind, she was right, he does. My husband couldn’t find the Triple paste in our kids’ bathroom cabinet. What can I say, that cabinet is extremely unorganized, even with baskets placed inside their bathroom cabinet for organization. He found the Balmex instead. After joking around for a minute about using diaper rash cream on his rare bottom. He decided to use Balmex since our Triple paste was no where to be found.

Well a day later, actually a couple of days later, he realized what I was talking about with rashes and Balmex use. The Balmex diaper cream didn’t relieve or get rid of the rash. He just decided to live with the rash and use no diaper rash cream at all. Poor guy.
