Are you kids smitten with the characters from the hit television show “Yo Gabba Gabba?” Does their love affair with the show have you thinking about planning a show themed party? If so, you’ll undoubtedly need to purchase a few party supplies. With that said, I happen to know of a handful of items that would make suitable party favors for such a themed shindig. Here’s a brief peek at each one:
Lollipops and Zipper Pulls
In my opinion, “Yo Gabba Gabba” lollipops would make super gifts. At this point, there are two different show related lollipop molds on the market. One is designed to be used with hard candy mixes. The other mold is designed to be used with chocolate candy melts. Each one features Plex, Muno, Toodee, Foofa and Brobee. You can generally purchase the lollipop molds through specialty shops for $5 each. I’d also suggest that you consider wrapping the pops in cellophane bags and tying them shut with a “Yo Gabba Gabba” zipper pull. You can make your own zipper pulls by purchasing zipper pull blanks from Tucci Charms and a pack of stickers from a party supply shop.
Tumblers, Cups and Sports Bottles
Do you want a themed party favor that can do double duty instead? If so, I’d suggest investing in a themed tumbler, a cup or a sports bottle. They will eliminate the need to buy disposable drinkware, which makes things easier on your wallet and the environment. The tumblers and cups are traditionally outfitted with a lid and a straw. The sports bottles are usually outfitted with sip style lids. Prices for the items tend to run from $3 to $4 each. You can typically buy all three through select party supply shops like Birthday Express.
Tambourines
Would you prefer to give your guests a party favor that will help them make some noise? Well then, you may want to consider forking over $15 for a 24 pack of “Yo Gabba Gabba” Tambourines. I have found that they are perfect for an impromptu parade around the dining room table. Each one is slightly over 4 inches in diameter and features a full-color graphic of the series’ characters. You can find the tambourines for sale at most party supply shops. They also pair nicely with other child-size musical instruments like kazoos, whistles, harmonicas and slide flutes.
Plush Clip On
Lastly, a “Yo Gabba Gabba” Plush Clip On would make a great gift as well. Each clip on stands a little over 6 inches tall and is made from a soft material. I like using the clip ons as party favors because they can also double as place cards. To turn the dolls into place cards, outfit them with customized stickers before clipping them onto each child’s chair. Each clip on tends to retail for $7 through select party supply shops.
