Dwyane Wade has the title of one of People Magazine’s Most Beautiful People, but his sister Tragil is equally gorgeous.
Tragil Wade, president of the Wade’s World Foundation, appeared over the weekend at the free Female Success Factor women’s event held in Chicago. Dwayne Wade’s sibling stunned the crowd when she appeared clad in a stylish, all-white fitted pants suit.
Tragil is a mainstay in Chicago with the foundation, although no one has seen her quite like this.
The Wade family grew up in the gritty Chicago neighborhood of Englewood, and as a teen, Tragil sent Dwyane to live with relatives and to give him a chance to survive.
Tragil Wade spoke privately about the Wade family’s struggles due to mom Jolinda’s substance abuse, and encouraged the attendees to strive to overcome obstacles.
Educated in the Chicago Public Schools, Tragil left Chicago in the mid ’90s and graduated from Crawford High School in San Diego. Prior to joining the Wade’s World Foundation, a nonprofit for at risk youth, Wade returned to Chicago to teach at Community High School District 218 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Chicago State University.
“This is so much bigger than basketball,” Wade told the ladies as she detailed her journey.
Today Jolinda Wade is free of drugs and is a pastor.
