Twenty-Five Inspirational Mottos and Quotes

Mottos

Writers use inspirational mottos and quotes as do many other people who post information on message boards and other public forums. It’s sometimes difficult to find just the right inspirational mottos or quotes, but the following list of mottos and quotes will help make your search a little easier. Here you’ll find twenty-five inspirational mottos and quotes, and one of them just might fit your personality and your unique style. I’ve had a few different mottos and quotes, but I’ve finally settled on a favorite, and it’s one simple line that fits my individuality and sums up my feelings to a tee.

My Number One Motto

My motto is a shortened version of a bit of inspirational wisdom provided by the one and only Dr. Seuss. He said, “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” I had to shorten his quote to fit within the text box of my writing profile, and I switched the order of his words. In essence my motto says the same thing as the original inspirational motto coined by Dr. Seuss, but my version says, “Say what you feel, because those who matter don’t mind, and those who mind don’t matter.”

My inspirational mottos and quotes are a part of who I am. I speak up for what I believe in, and I’ve always thought that if someone doesn’t accept me or like me because of what I believe in, then they’re the one with the problem. My favorite inspirational mottos and quotes are as follows, and if you don’t like them, I respect your opinion, but you’re free to keep on searching!

A Quote From Yours Truly

When recently commenting on robritt’s article entitled “Quote of the Week, Johnan Kasper Lavater”, I created a new quote for contemplation. As a writer, I sometimes wonder where my thoughts and words come from. Some of the lines and paragraphs I write seem to flow from somewhere beyond my human mind, and I’m thankful for the gift of words. In response to robritt’s article, I responded by saying, “A single line of well chosen words can have more meaning than an entire novel.” I truly believe this, and if you choose your words carefully you can create something from nothing that can impact scores of people.
