Plant Description

Rosemary is an herbaceous, aromatically sweet and fragrant herb from mint family. Its leaves appear like needles. The flowers are colored in white, pink, purple, or blue.

Common Uses

It is widely popular for its culinary uses; the rosemary dressed or spiced dishes include desserts, egg and fish preparations, salads, soups, meats and vegetables. Other known uses include medicinal applications and perfumes and scent cosmetics, insect repellents.

Extraction
