The Perfect Hairstyle for Frizzy Hair

Frizzy Hair, Hairdryer, Short Haircut

If you are like many women who have frizzy hair, you have probably tried every single new hairstyle you have seen in the magazines in the hopes of taming your wild hair. This will have only lead to disappointment because the magazines only seem to show haircuts and hairstyles for smooth, non-frizzy hair. I know firsthand how hard it can be to style frizzy hair. I have been trying for years to find a hairstyle for my dried out frizzy hair. I finally found the perfect hairstyle for frizzy hair after many years of looking and want to share my golden egg with all of you.

To start with, you need to have the right haircut so you can properly style frizzy hair. No matter how hard I tried to style my frizzy hair with a short haircut, it would not work. I would end up looking like a dried out cotton ball. I now keep my hair below my shoulders to help keep my frizzy locks tamed. The weight of the extra hair helps to keep some of the frizz out. I always have my hairdresser put long layers into my hair to help me to be able to style it when I get home. I would suggest staying away from bangs. They will just kink up as soon as you start to try to style them.

The next thing that I have found that you have to do to have the perfect hairstyle for frizzy hair is to throw out your hairdryer. I always allow my hair to air dry at its own rate. Any time that I have been tempted to use a hairdryer to speed up the process has ended up in a huge frizzy nightmare. The hairstyle that is described here will work perfectly when you have just showered before you attempt to style your curly hair.

I have found that one of the best products to use to help keep frizzy hair tamed is Garnier Fructise Sleek and Shine Serum. I apply a dime size amount to my hand and work it through my towel dried hair. Make sure that you start at the ends and work your way up to the roots. A little of this stuff goes a long way, so be careful not to use too much or your hair may look greasy.

Brush out all of the knots in your hair. This will be much easier with the serum in your hair. Apply a gel for curly, frizzy hair into the palm of your hand. I like Curl Booster Fixative Gel by FX Special Effects. Work the gel between both hands and then use your hands to scrunch your towel dried hair. Hold each scrunch for about 5 seconds. You will see your hair start to go into defined curls from its once frizzy state. This is the easiest and perfect hairstyle for frizzy hair.

Both products that I use for my frizzy hair are available at your local drugstore.
