I have owned several cordless sweepers in my life time. I have three cats and my husband is a fireman; they are not the neatest bunch by any means. Then one day while at the store I came across a cordless sweeper and decided to take it home and give it a try. I had purchased a Shark cordless sweeper with a charger and extra set of batteries. My other sweeper had been a generic no name product that kicked the bucket and I was hoping this sweeper would be a little more sturdy.
After I charged it for 24 hours, I decided to give it a try; I was so pleasantly surprised! The Shark sweeper picked up fur off the carpet better then my regular vacuum . It only took one pass over the area and poof no more fur! So then I decided to try it on the furniture, we all know what a pain cleaning fur off a couch is. It was like I died and gone to cleaning heaven, it had no problem getting the fur off the couch and top it off the sweeper is super light!
I had finished with the living room and then decided to try it on my tile kitchen floor; no problem what so ever! My husband tends to track in a lot of dirt with his boots and with a tile floor that really can be a pain to clean. The Shark sweeper had no problem and was still going strong after I had finished the living room and kitchen floor.
I decided it was time to try the stairs; and I hate vacuuming the stairs because it is so awkward and can be a real back killer. The Shark had no problem picking up fur, dirt and whatever else was on the stairs. I thought to myself this was almost too easy, is it really picking it up? I emptied the collection tray and was so surprised by the amount of ‘stuff’ in the tray. I have always thought of myself as a neat freak but after seeing what the sweeper picked up I was shocked.
Some other great benefits is it charges pretty quickly, it very light and versatile. I liked it so much I bought one for my classroom. To all the teachers out there, listen to this-the Shark sweeper picks up glitter! How many times have you tried sweeping and vacuuming that stuff and it does not go anywhere? This makes glitter projects a walk in the park and pick up super easy. In the winter when kids track in all that fine sand; the Shark sweeper has no problem at all. I actually have had 5 parents go out and buy a Shark after seeing what mine was able to do in the classroom.
Animals, kids, messy husbands; the Shark makes things much easier to clean. I have liked this product so much that I bought one for my mother and my mother in-law! They are very reasonably priced and last a long time. I am not a gentle person at all and the Shark is very tough; but it is not huge in size or super heavy. The Shark is easy to use, easy on the budget and a great tool to help keep things cleaned.
