Decorate Your Father’s Day Dinner Table for Less Than $20

Throwing a special Father’s Day dinner for Dad this year? Then you will like these Father’s Day Dinner Table ideas for $20 or less. Let the kids help!

You don’t have to spend a ton of money to really dress up a cool Father’s Day dinner table. These simple ideas are a great way to transform your table into a beautiful display for Father’s Day.

Repurpose Dad’s Shirts and Ties

Try taking a few of Dad’s button down shirts and closing the buttons, then slipping them over the chairs at the dinner table.

Now, take one tie for each chair and tie it in place at the neck! Now, everyone, including Dad will get a great laugh at this whimsical Father’s Day décor!

Turn simple ties into a table runner but lining them up down the middle of the table. You may want to use old ties or ties from Goodwill in case food is spilled on the. Use fabric tape on the bottoms of the ties to tape them together in the shape of a table runner.

Photos of Dad

Turn photos of Dad into a fun Father’s Day themed plate charger. Simply lay a photo of Dad on your dinner table. Have the photos blown up to a larger size so they can be seen under the dinner plate. You could even try using clear glass plates so Dad’s face can be seen through them!

Plaid or Tie Wrapping paper

Don’t go investing in an expensive cloth tablecloth for Father’s Day. Plaid, Tie covered wrapping paper, and even golf themed wrapping paper are all an affordable away to dress up any Father’s Day dinner table. Simply roll it out across the middle of the Father’s Day dinner table just like a table runner. This simple trick is used with white rolls of paper at Italian restaurants all the time.

Dad’s Tools Turned Centerpiece

Use Dad’s tools to decorate the dinner table as well.

You can use green floral foam and place it down in one of Dad’s tool boxes. Start arranging all of Dad’s tools like wrenches, screw drivers, hammers, and more like they are flowers.

Once you have Dad’s tools pressed into place you can fill in around them with shredded green tissue paper, whole green tissue paper, dried moss, or even fabric bunched up.

If Dad is an avid golfer try making a really tall centerpiece with some old or used golf clubs! Add the green tissue paper, and then add some golf balls. Don’t use Dad’s best set of clubs for this Father’s Day centerpiece! Dad may not really appreciate it then!

Washer, Nuts, and Bolts Napkin Rings

Smaller tools will make great napkin rings. Try using floral wire and a bunch of Dad’s washers, nuts, and other small pieces that can be slipped on to them. Curl the floral wire around to form the napkin ring and tie it off to hold the washers, nuts, and bolts. Off.
