Review of Keratin Complex, Infusion Therapy- Vanilla Bean Deep Conditioner

Deep Conditioner, Keratin, Keratin Treatment, Vanilla Bean

I normally do not like spending a whole lot of money on hair care products such as shampoo or conditioner. However after doing a do-it-yourself thermal straightening treatment, I noticed that my hair seemed far more damaged than usual. Granted the results were nice, the toll my hair began to take on was obvious.

My hair was dryer than usual, and I noticed that I had a lot more split ends than what I was used to before the treatment.

I knew in order to restore my hairs health, that I was going to have to go at it quickly, easily, and naturally it would be costly.

I came across Keratin Complex, Infusion Therapy- Vanilla Bean Deep Conditioner, and bought it for $22.00 at my local Target. It promised to fix all of the issues I had with my dry and damaged hair and to top it off it was designed for those who recently had a keratin treatment. I figured my locks were the perfect candidate for the conditioner.

My Use:

I used it as it was recommended. I shampooed my hair, and then added a nice amount of the conditioner to my damp hair, and then covered it with a plastic bag, and applied heat using a hair dryer for 20 minutes.

The Scent:

Keratin Complex, Infusion Therapy- Vanilla Bean Deep Conditioner has a pleasant scent associated to it. The vanilla bean fragrance is authentic to vanilla bean, and not just pure vanilla on its own. Although vanilla bean is not a top pick as far as fragrance goes, I did like it overall.

Results:

While rinsing the conditioner out after applying heat to it for 20 minutes, I felt an immediate difference as far as texture, and softness. I hoped that when the hair dried, it would retain this new soft and lively feeling.

Now you really want to make sure you rinse this one out good, otherwise your hair will be left feeling weighed down, gritty and unclean. This conditioner is thick, and a little really goes a long way.

With that said, I have been using the conditioner for a month now, for weekly treatments, and with each treatment my hair feels the difference. It is softer, shiner, and feels much better than usual.

All in all, I feel as if Keratin Complex, Infusion Therapy- Vanilla Bean Deep Conditioner is repairing my hair one week at a time. The results may be slow moving, but it is obvious that it works. My hair is 90% back to normal, and split ends are not as prominent in my hairs ends anymore since using it.

Overall:

Week after week, my hair is improving, and I like it. I would recommend this to anyone who recently had a permanent straightening treatment, or for those with badly damaged hair for any other reason. It works, and you will feel and see a difference.
