For this photographed pattern, NynaveAs uses both a lightweight and stiff fabric: cotton and vinyl. Her finished piece measures 18 inches in length.
Purse Organizer Pattern by Henrietta’s Handbags
This pattern, available for purchase at $10, makes a purse organizer with a curved design for wrapping around the interior of a purse. This pattern requires 3/8 yd. of fabric for the main body and pockets of the organizer, ¼ yd. of accent fabric, ¼ yd. of binding fabric, a 7 in. zipper, 7 in. of ¼ in. elastic, ¼ yd. of mid-weight fusible interfacing, and 5 in. by 22 in. stabilizer (heavy weight).
Encore Purse Insert Pattern by Studio Kat Designs
This sewing pattern, available for purchase at $12, makes a brilliant purse insert (11.5 in. long x 5.5 in. tall x 6.5 in. wide) designed for larger handbags. The special features of this box-shaped purse insert include a zippered, gusseted coin purse and an insert-length zippered pouch for larger items. This pattern requires ½ yd. of fabric for the exterior, ¾ yd. contrasting fabric for the lining, 1/3 yd. fusible interfacing, 1/3 yd. double-sided fusible stabilizer, two 7-in. nylon zippers, one 9-in. nylon zipper, one 14-in. nylon zipper, one yard ¼-in. flat elastic, six in. ¾-in. flat elastic, and 2.5-yd. double-fold bias tape.
