After my gastric bypass surgery last year, I was advised to increase my protein intake to 60 – 80 grams per day. It can be hard to get that much protein, especially when you just had gastric bypass surgery and can’t eat very much at one time. Many people use protein shakes after a gastric bypass to make sure they get enough protein, and I use those too, but these protein pudding recipes are a great way to get more protein in your diet. They taste good; you wouldn’t even know they have protein in them. Depending on the brand of protein powder you use, each serving of pudding will give you about 12 grams of protein.
