4) Frost the cake and the cupcakes with the blue icing.

5) Arrange the cupcakes above the round cake to look like toes and there you have it, a paw print.

Dog Bowl Treats

Use dog food bowls for serving dishes. (Buy new dog bowls for sanitary reasons.) Decorate the dog bowls with Blues Clues stickers or paw prints. You can use paints from a craft store to paint paw prints on the dog bowls.

Party Activities – Face Painting

Get light blue and dark blue face paint. Paint each child’s’ face to look like Blue. This is a great activity to start the party with. It really puts the kids in a Blues Clues party mood.

Party Activities – Follow the Clues

Give each kid a Blues Clues Handy Dandy Notebook. You can order them at prettypartyplace.com for $3.99 for a set of 4. Each notebook comes with a crayon.

Cut a paw print out of colored paper and write a clue on it.

Give each kid a paw print with a different clue that will lead them to treats that you have hidden.

For extra fun, play the Blues Clues song in the background during the game. Or you can have all the kids sing the song during the game.

Party Activities – Blue Bubbles

This game you are going to want to play outside. Add blue food coloring to the bubbles before hand. Give each kid their own blue bubbles and have them blow bubbles at white construction paper outside. The bubbles will make blue designs on the paper. For extra fun, have the kids try to make pictures on the paper out of their bubbles.

Party Activities – Playdoh

Give each kid blue Playdoh and have them make Blue.

Party Activities – Blues Clues Inflatable Thinking Chair

Nick Jr. has a Blues Clues Inflatable Thinking Chair for $16.99. You can order it here. The chair looks just like the one on the show. Take a picture of each kid in the chair. It is best, if you have a Polaroid camera or a digital camera and printer where you can print out the pictures to send home with the kids.
