Over the years I have been invited to many home parties, including those selling kitchen, household, jewelry and cosmetics products. Six years ago I attended a party featuring The Body Shop products, which was great since it allowed me to try out their beauty products first hand. This was a great idea, and while I was “shopping” with my friends I was pampered to a foot soak and hand scrub.
A home party featuring bath and body products is a great idea, and now a new comer named Pink Papaya has ventured into the home party business. A friend invited me to her Pink Papaya Beauty Bar party a few weeks ago, which I attended with my daughter. This was a perfect mother/daughter event!
Pink Papaya was founded by two women named Susan and Karen in 2006, and their company offers more than 80 beauty products. Today Pink Papaya has over 1000 Consultants and has three times the product they did when they first opened their doors.
At my Pink Papaya Beauty Bar party I was taken to the kitchen sink and treated to their Cranberry Orange Hand Scrub. I was impressed by how gentle it was and that the ingredients were as natural as organic sugar, cranberry seeds, vitamin E, and aloe vera! It left my hands feeling as soft as silk. Next the Consultant poured hot water into large plastic tubs and dumped some Blackberry Fig Foot Scrub into the water. We visited and learned about more Pink Papaya products while we relaxed during our hot foot soak. We were all feeling quite pampered!
When I dried my feet with the towel provided, I was amazed by the amount of dry skin that came off. Their foot scrub is amazing, and it smells wonderful. The Blackberry Fig Foot Scrub contains organic brown sugar, blackberry seeds, sesame seed oil and vitamin E.
During the next hour I was able to try out almost every one of the Pink Papaya products, taking notes when I found one that I loved. There were so many products it was hard to keep them straight! I felt like I was at an expensive spa, yet here I was with a room full of friends. What a treat.
Pink Papaya does not test on animals, they are made in the U.S.A., and they are made with high quality and natural ingredients. Their line includes aromatherapy products that not only soothe the body but the senses as well. Pink Papaya Yummy Collection offers bubble bath, body wash, scrubs, body butter, body creme, body mist, gel eye mask and a loofah.
Their Signature Bath Collection provides body wash, a sea sponge, eye gel mask, body butter, body sugar scrub, a bamboo sisal mitt and ayate cloth.
If you have normal to dry skin Pink Papaya has products to hydrate, replenish and brighten your skin. They offer a botanical facial wash, facial scrub with grapeseed extract, a botanical facial toner, AM facial defense triple protection gel SPF 15, and PM hydrate facial moisture.
Combination skin care products include botanical facial wash, white willow bark & lemon peel clarifying scrub, botanical facial toner, AM facial defense triple protection gel SPF 15, and PM hydrate facial gel.
Skincare treatment products in the line are anti-aging facial creme, undereye treatment gel, facial mask with papaya extract, ultra hydrating eye creme with marine extracts, firming facial serum, green jade roller, and a eye gel mask that can be cooled in the refrigerator.
The hands and feet are pampered with cranberry orange hand scrub, shea butter hand creme, blackberry fig foot scrub, blackberry hand and foot mask, hand treatment candle, foot creme with sweet almond oil, sun glitzed “tan in a bottle” for the legs, and their bikini duo to prevent razor rash for the bikini zone.
Last, Pink Papaya offers a line of cosmetics that include products for the lips, make up removers, eye shadows, mineral powder foundation, concealer, blush, eye shadow, and eye liners.
One of my favorite products, which I find unique and a great gift idea, is the Pink Papaya Massage Candle. As the candle burns a pool of warm oil accumulates in the jar. When the flame is extinguished, you can use the warm oil for massage. The oils include warm mango, shea butter, hemp seed and jojoba. The candles are available in scents of lavender sweet orange, vanilla sandalwood, grapefruit bergamot, and cherry blossom bamboo.
