MySpace Photo Collage Tool Tutorial

Edit Photos

MySpace has a new photo tool out called Collage. This tool allows you to create a photo collage right from your account. Once you have created the collage, you can save it to your computer and print it right from your printer. In this tutorial, I will walk you through each step of creating the collages on your MySpace account.

Locating the Collage Tool

The first step is to locate the collage tool. You will need to login to your MySpace account if you haven’t already. On the account page, you will need to click the Add/Edit Photos link. It should be located right next to your default photo. Once you are on the Add/Edit Photos page, you will see your albums that you have uploaded to MySpace. Click an album that you want to turn into a collage. At the top of the photos, you will see the Make Photo Cube and More button, place your mouse over that button and a menu will expand. In the menu, you will need to click the Collage link. That will carry you to the collage tool page.

How to Create a Collage With MySpace’s New Collage Tool

Now, I will show you how to create the collage. I have no clue how many photos you have in the album you have open, but you can use up to 12 photos in this one collage. So, to begin, we will add the photos to the collage. The layout of the collage is going to depend on how many photos you add to it. You will see what I mean once you add some of your photos. The layout will change with every photo you add. To start adding photos, drag a photo to the gray box and drop it. Then grab another photo, drag it to the box, and drop it. Continue doing this until you have all of the photos you want in the collage placed in the collage.

Once you have all of your photos added, you can change the background color of the collage. You will see the color palette icon, click that icon to open the color palette. Once it is opened, select the color of your choice. Next, you can edit the title of the collage. At the top of the collage, you will see the text that says Edit Title. Click that text and a text field will appear. Type your new title in the text field and click off of it to save it.

You can also change the position of the photos by clicking the Shuffle button. Keep clicking the Shuffle button until the photos are like you want them. Another cool thing about this collage is you can apply effects to the photos once you have them in the collage. Hover over one of the photos in the collage, you’ll notice the icons that appear on the left side of the photo. If you click the FX icon a box of effects will open and from there you can click an effect you want applied to the photo and it will be applied. If you want to remove the photo from the collage, click the trash can icon.

Once you are ready to save the collage, click the Get My Collage button above your collage. A box will open and ask you to save the collage. Save it to your computer. Then open the collage and print it.
