How to Wax Hair Using Hot Wax

Wax 2.0, Waxing

As a female and even male, you have many hair removal techniques available to you nowadays. You should know and take advantage of all these techniques and find the one that suits you best. Your goal in hair removal should be to find a hair removal technique that is as painless for you as possible.

I can’t think of single person who enjoys cuts, bruises, and unsightly bumps, especially from removing their hair. So today I am going to teach you have to use hot wax as a hair removal option.

Waxing may take you a couple times to build enough nerve to rip that wax paper from your leg and remove all those little hairs from your body. I will not lie to you; when I first starting waxing, it hurt like crazy! But I found that waxing has many pros and my legs felt a lot better than they did when I was using the classic shaver and crème. The hairs on my legs were gone for about a week and half and the wax also removed all the dead skin cells on my skin. And the pain starts to ease after a couple waxes.

Step 1 – First you need to heat the wax. When you first open the wax, it will be in a hard chunk. Put that chunk of wax in a wax warmer and wait for it to be a thick goopy solution. Once you have reached a thick texture point, the wax is ready for use. Make sure you do not allow the wax to chill again or you will have to reheat it again and wait all over.

Step 2 – Make sure you shower before moving onto the rest of this step. After you make sure the area that you will be waxing is clean, you may move on. Apply the warm wax to the hairy area making sure to follow the pattern of growth. If you go against the hair rather than the flow, you may end up with ingrown hairs. Not much fun!

Step 3 – Apply a waxing strip on top of the wax you just applied. Wait for the wax to harden a little, but not too much or you could end up with wax that is too brittle to remove your hair. Try tugging on the wax strip every now and then to check it. Once the wax is hard and strong enough, grab the bottom of the wax strip (closest to floor when pointing down) and pull quickly. Do not pull slowly because it will not do as well of a job.

Step 4 – Continue step 3 until all the hair you would like to be removed, is removed. After you have finished waxing use a little olive oil to remove any remaining wax on your skin. Olive oil will also help moisturize your skin and settle irritation.

And that is how you wax using hot wax!
