Home Remedies for Common Dog Ailments

Acv, Dog Hair, Losing Hair, Odor Neutralizer

Does your beloved dog scratch incessantly? Chew their paws, have red, raw skin patches and losing hair?

Have you taken your dog to the Vet and been through the allergy tests, the injections, the antibiotics, the Prednisone, tried every shampoo, cream, lotion and spray available, and still your dog is in misery? Don’t despair, there is one more product to try, it is cheap, easy to obtain, and cures the majority of dog dermatitis/hot spot problems.

Apple Cider Vinegar. It will reverse all kinds of dog skin ailments. Spray directly on the hot spots for immediate relief. Continue using Apple Cider Vinegar, applying it twice daily directly to the hot spots by spraying or sponging on. In about 3 days, the dog’s hair will start growing back and the redness will be gone from the skin. Relief for you and your dog.

Even if your dog does not have hot spots/dermatitis, add ACV to your dog’s bath water for a thick, shiny coat and odor neutralizer. Bathing them with a little ACV will protect your dog from getting hot spots and fleas. Also, add 1/4 cup of ACV per gallon of drinking water for your dog to protect your dog against fleas. Your dog will be too acidic inside and out for the flea’s taste, so fleas will leave your dog alone. A few drops of ACV in your dogs ears after bathing will help avoid ear infections and ear mites.

Apple Cider Vinegar has as many health benefits for dogs as it does for humans. All natural, easy to obtain, easy to use and cheap.

I have found a few other home remedies that work well for my dogs also, you might want to give them a try.

For an upset stomach, try cooked white rice. Cook the rice according to package directions and feed this to your dog for a couple of days instead of their normal food. On the second day you can add ground chicken or turkey to the rice. I know some folks only feed raw meat to their dogs, so your choice to cook or not cook the chicken or turkey, it’s the white rice that will settle their stomachs and cleanse their system of whatever was causing it to be upset.

Add garlic to your dog’s daily food and it will prevent internal parasites. Garlic will also rid your dog of existing internal parasites. A few shavings of fresh garlic or about 1/4 teaspoon processed garlic mixed with their food daily. The garlic will also help keep the ticks off of your dogs. Ticks don’t like the flavor of garlic so they won’t attach themselves to your dogs.

If your dog has a gas problem, yogurt with Probiotics mixed with their food daily will solve it. About 4 teaspoons a day will do the trick.

A little Apple Cider Vinegar, a little rice, a little garlic, a little yogurt. That’s all you need to cure and/or prevent some of the most common ailments that all dogs have.
