Game Ideas for Your Jewelry Home Show

Selling Jewelry

I just recently got into selling jewelry. One of the things that we do at our home shows is play games. We play fun games to break the ice, to get to know each other, and to win prizes. I have put my own twist on these games so you are free to modify these games and use them how you want too.

One of the games that I play is the Pocket Book Game. Ladies we all know that when we go to a party or a home show we take our pocket books with us. And we also know we carry a lot of stuff in our pocket books. So this is a fun game to play.

Directions – Tell all of the ladies to get their pocket books out. Tell them that you will call out an item and the first one that pulls it out will get a point or you can give out a fake dollar or something. Use your imagination on this. Then start calling out items. At the end of the game tell them to add their points up. The one with the most points when a prize. The prize is your choice. Here are some items that you can call out.

Comb

Bandaid

Tylenol

One Dollar Bill

Perfume

The next game is 15 Questions. Give each guest a sheet of paper and something to write with. Then tell them that you are going to ask them 15 questions. Tell them to number their paper 1 – 15. Then tell them to write a check for yes or an x for no. The one with the most checks at the end of the game wins a prize. The prize is up to you. Here are 15 questions to give you an idea.

  1. Have you ever put something on the stove or in the oven and forgot about it?
  2. Have you ever gotten in the bathtub and realized your wash cloth is in the dryer?
  3. Have you ever sprayed deodorant in your hair thinking it was hairspray?
  4. Have you ever stuck something in the refrigerator that doesn’t belong?
  5. Have you ever put a run in your panty hose while you were putting them on?
  6. Have you ever gone shopping and realized while you were checking out that you forgot your money at home?
  7. Have you ever called someone and forgot who you were calling?
  8. Have you ever been stopped for speeding and your excuse was you had to get home to use the bathroom?
  9. Have you ever showed up at church an hour late or early when time changes?
  10. Have you ever gotten in your car and forgot where you were going?
  11. Have you ever left someone at work that was suppose to ride home with you?
  12. Have you ever went to a fast food restaurant and got home before you realized your food wasn’t in the bag.
  13. Have you ever had your items rung up and when you start writing a check, the cashier said they didn’t accept checks?
  14. Have you ever looked at your caller id when the phone rings and put it back down.
  15. Have you ever pulled the cover over your head when you heard a noise in the house?

You can use any questions that you want. This is just an idea for you to go by.

The next game is also a pocket book game. Instead of calling out items, call out a letter. The person that pulls out an item that starts with that letter first gets a point. You could pass out play money or make some type of point cards off of your computer. The person with the most points at the end of the game will win a prize.

These are a few games that I play at my jewelry home shows. I hope they will help you out or at least give you ideas for new games.
