Einstein Brothers Bagels in Centennial Hills, Las Vegas

Bagels

Las Vegas is all about having things the way you want them, 24 hours a day, quickly. Einstein Brothers Bagels in Centennial Hills, Las Vegas, NV, has two out of the three covered. This bagel company is quick and they offer some of the most diverse bagel choices I have ever seen.

The main area of Einstein Brothers Bagels is somewhat cluttered. As soon as you enter the business, you will notice the entire shop is one large open area. But, the area is filled to the brim with tables and chairs. There is barely enough room for customers to form a line, let alone concentrate on menu options. Many patrons decide to grab their bagels and head outdoors to the large open area seating available just off the main entrance.

The bagel selection at Einstein Brothers Bagels is confusing to say the least. There are so many different types of bagel and spreads, that you can not remember the first list by the time you move on to the second. In order to best enjoy and understand the menu at Einstein Brothers Bagels you should grab a take out menu and read from front to back several times before standing in line. This is not a joke, there are m ore than 150 different types of bagels and spreads. Not including the lunch offerings and the drink specials. There is a lot to take in.

The service is nothing to brag or complain about. On the day we visited, the line was rather long, so a clerk was taking orders person by person before we even made it to the register. This was a bit of a let down. I did not mind waiting in line, because I had never read the menu. I was trying to unlock the secret to ordering a bagel when she popped in and wanted our order. When we said we were not ready, she just stood there and waited. After a few minutes, we were uncomfortable enough that we just ordered plain bagels and cream cheese.

The taste of the bagels is out of this world. Crisp, light and warm, you could not ask for more from a bagel. But, for the price, I can understand why. We spent more than $35.00 on 6 bagels and drinks. Wow, was all I could say. Though, I must reiterate that the bagels are the best I have ever tasted. Sometimes you actually do get what you pay for.

The seating area, as I explained before, is housed in the same large area as the kitchen, barrista station and registers. With a line full of people and many already seated. We did not have the chance to sit and enjoy our bagels. Even if the place had not been jammed to the doors with patrons, the seating was so close together that we would have looked like a first grade class on the way to a bathroom break trying to find a place to sit.

All in all, I loved the taste of the bagels available at Einstein Brothers Bagels. The price was way too high, the place was jammed and the service left a little to be desired. In order to enjoy the menu you would have to be a rocket scientist. I will not go back to Einstein Brothers Bagels unless I call ahead for take out.
