Big Name Companies Offering Work At Home Opportunities

Uhaul, Work at Home Opportunities

The number of people looking for a work at home job is truly staggering, and the sad fact is that there are a large number of people out there that I like to refer to as “vultures” looking to steer these people in the wrong direction by lying to them, charging them large amounts of money for lists of companies that have no openings, and just out and out taking these unsuspecting people for a ride. Those looking to work at home are usually moms who are forced to stay home due to the high cost of childcare, and are living on a very tight budget. Fortunately, there are several big name companies who are now tapping into the work at home workforce, and creating job opportunities for at home workers.

Uhaul

Uhaul has just recently made the venture into the work at home world, and seems to be thrilled at the response they have gotten. I myself have worked with Uhaul as an at home Emergency Roadside Dispatcher, and fill it is a great opportunity for those looking to work from home. Currently, when you hire on with Uhaul as a work at home agent you start out as an Emergency Road Dispatcher, from there you have the opportunity to move to SuperQue Agent (similar to a switchboard operator), or Customer Service Representative. Uhaul does have a plan to add more work at home opportunities in the future such as Reservation Sales Agent. The work at home positions with Uhaul are hourly paying jobs, so you aren’t working on commission, time on the phone, etc.

Pop-A-Lock

Pop-A-Lock has been hiring work at home Dispatchers for quite a while now, and seems to be a good company to work for. Pop-A-Lock also pays hourly, but currently only hires in certain cities and states.
