I met her when I was just 15
She wasn’t wearing a pretty blue dress
But blue jeans
That made her look the best
She didn’t wear glass slippers
In fact they were not glass at all
Sick of sore feet Flip flops were her favorite foot ware of all
There was still a twinkle in her eyes
She was a great cook
She made me chicken thighs

But she’s worth a lot more than that to me
