Booty Slide Product Preview

Body by Jake

I am all for calling into question questionable claims made in advertisements. I like to hear what people say, do my own research, and form my own opinion. So needless to say when a bunch of middle-aged women were shaking their rears in my face on a television infomercial the other day and they all claimed to have the booty-of-their-lives through the use of this one product, I had to find out more. Booty Slide is the product and I wondered if it really could be the answer it claimed. Booty Slide is released and endorsed and distributed by Body by Jake so that is something that consumers who are endorsers of these products should be aware of.

Booty Slide makes the claim that user is on this program will have a “better butt in seven minutes.” But what is Booty Slide? Good question. According to the Booty Slide website you get a whole lot of stuff with this product. In your Booty Slide kit you get sent to you a set of Booty Slide booties and a workout DVD. So Booty Slide is a workout program. But Booty Slide won’t just slide your booty away; you have to do the work to get the results you’re looking for. Booty Slide does offer a guarantee: “Booty Slide guarantees you’ll get a better butt in 30 days or your money back! If you’re not totally satisfied with Booty Slide program, you can return the product for a full refund up to 30 days after the original purchase date (less shipping and handling).” Though I wonder if anyone is going to be discouraged enough after 30 days and no success that they would actually go through the process of sending their Booty Slide back.

Booty Slide creator and I’m guessing Booty Slide DVD instructor is named Rebecca Kordecki. While I am always for better fitness and nicer-to-look-at butts, I worry that the oversimplified nature of this program will be too discouraging for folks who are easily taken in by delusions of grandeur. From their own literature at Booty Slide claims “sexy, lifted booty-licious buns fast!” But what is fast? Define fast! Granted the Booty Slide website says you just need to do “seven moves, seven minutes a day,” but what is that? Is it 7 minutes a day or is it 49 minutes a day? And how long until average users start seeing results? That information is nowhere.

Even the press which Booty Slide quotes on their website seems less than enthusiastic about this product. Hamptons Magazine said Booty Slide is “Fun and intense, Booty Slide is a unique addition to any repertoire.” Vogue Magazine said Booty Slide users can “lunge and glide (their) way to a firmer physique.” Extra said “…Rebecca is putting clients into shape with her signature Booty Slide workout.” Not the most glowing of praises; a lot of what was quoted on Booty Slide website from these publications just sounds like regurgitated information from Booty Slide press materials.

Don’t misconstrue what I’m saying here; I’m all for people getting in shape and doing whatever they need to do to achieve a comfortable weight that they can maintain and feel good about themselves with. However I just wish I had a little more color on what the Booty Slide workout is, how is it different than any other workout, why you wear these booties to do it, and a little bit less phantasmagorical “seven-minute-better-butt” hocus pocus.
