Best Prom Tuxedos in Nashville, Tennessee

Formal Wear, Style Trends, Tuxedos

Prom 2010 in Nashville, Tennessee is a very special affair. There are several excellent stores that can provide you with a wide selection of formal wear to rent, at a price to fit your budget. Do start early because retailers like four-two weeks to give you the best selection and to get everything delivered. Don’t panic though. Everyone I spoke with is willing to help you, even at the last minute. (From experience, I can tell you my daughter’s 6’5″ date got a tux a week before prom one year. It is stressful but it can be done!)

It is important to know that many tuxedo stores have relationships with local high schools and offer special discounts based on the number of students that rent from them. Check and see if your school has this type of arrangement. If so, you could get a better price on your tuxedo.

One of the current trends for prom is to go as a group with your friends, rather than as a couple with a date. If you are going in a group, you have complete freedom in selecting your tuxedo. If you have a date, it is a good idea to coordinate your look with the color of her gown. There are many ways to do this, either through the entire tuxedo style or perhaps just with the vest and necktie. Look for a store that has a helpful and fashion-savvy sales staff. They should be able to pull your look together and be knowledgeable about the popular trends at area schools. Whatever style you choose, let it be a reflection of you and something you will have a great time wearing!
