Best Football Party Food

Football Parties, Football Party, Fritos

It is time to plan those fun football parties. NFL or college football, it does not matter. What matters is having tasty and exciting food available. Football is more fun to watch with excellent football favorite goodies to eat. Here are the best football party foods to serve.

Chili Cheese dip and Fritos. You cannot go wrong with a hot bowl of chili cheese dip surrounded by large sized or scoop Fritos. Corn chips and chili cheese dip just jive with football watching. Football watching snack favorites!

Pringles crisps are great and they are available in some very tasty flavors. For football watching munchies, I highly recommend the pizza flavored, barbeque flavored, fully loaded baked potato flavored, cheese flavored and the original Pringles. These are my favorites! Plain potato chips cannot compare or compete with all of the exciting Pringles potato crisps flavors! Have a large bowl of onion dip or ranch dip ready for these tasty chips!

Hearty Mexican Dip. In a large baking dish layer a can of refried beans, a jar of cheese dip, a jar of salsa, some sour cream, cooked ground beef and guacamole, optional, heat until warm and place this dish by a large bowl filled with tortilla chips or large Fritos. Watch the dipping frenzy and stand back. This is a hearty Mexican dip. Spoon some of this on a plate along with Fritos, Doritos or Tortilla chips and you have a winner of a football party ready treat. One that is delicious and filling. Bring on the Bud Light. Or Corona with lime. Maybe even a margarita. Sprite or 7up will also do quite nicely! Some like to just mix all of these dip ingredients in a bowl but, I like presenting this dip as a layered dip. Guests can dip out what they want. Was that a touch down? Shoot. I missed it. It was worth it, I am pigging out. Half time.

Chili cheese slaw dogs. One of my all time favorite foods and it goes well with football. Hot dogs are not just for baseball. Grill or cook hot dogs and have chili, cheese and cole slaw to add them, along with mustard, for mustard lovers. These chili cheese slaw dogs will give your football party guests something to talk about besides football, believe me. Onions are optional. Do not knock this treat until you try it. It is delicious! a football favorite food of mine.

Pizza. Yep, pizza is a football watcher’s favorite and not just any pizza will do. Domino’s is my first choice, followed by Papa Johns. If you can get a hold of some take out large Mellow Mushroom restaurant pizzas, do it. Meat lovers is the best. They also have veggie lovers pizza. It is fantastic. Best football food for sure!

Barbequed chicken wings. Yes, some think that it would not be football night, NFL or college, without barbequed chicken wings. Boneless are my favorite but, all are good. A large pack from Sam’s or from your local grocery store will save you money.

Grilled cheese sandwiches are also a fun and creative option for football night! Many folks love these and they are affordable to make in mass quantities. Along with mass quantities of beer. Saturday Night Live revisited. Are you a cone head? Never mind. Younger people won’t understand that joke, I bet.

A last touchdown party food which is a snack worthy of watching TV with. Popcorn. So many flavors to choose from. Caramel, cheddar, plain, buttered, all are good.
