American Crew Tea Tree Body Lotion – Review

Body Lotions, men's cologne

In a box of freebies given to me by a relative, I pulled out 2 bottles of American Crew Tea Tree Body Lotion. The pretty colored packaging is what caught my eye first and foremost.

The bottle of American Crew Tea Tree Bottle Lotion is a nice dark fall amber color. It reminded me of Bath and Body Works Sensual Amber. I knew from past experiences with tea tree though, that t most likely would smell nothing like Sensual Amber’s sweet musky fall scent.

The bottle had a silver colored press down pump dispenser.

Before testing the lotion out though, I of course went straight to the back of the bottle for the description of what this lotion will do for my skin.

Hm…oh hydration, moisturization, nourishment to the skin, and the word hydration thrown in there 3 or 4 more times mixed with the word ultimate!

Blahbitty blah, it sounded like the same promise every lotion gives. Now let’s see how well it delivers.

First though let me cover American Crew Tea Tree Body Lotions scent. I pumped some of the lotion out (which was a nearly perfect white) and gave it a sniff. WOW! American Crew Tea Tree Body Lotion smells just like Polo Blue. It’s definitely a masculine scent. I myself love Polo Blue though. My boyfriend wears it religiously, and just getting a sniff of American Crew Tea Tree Body Lotion reminded me of him.

The scent is a clean sea breeze type scent that you get from a lot of mens cologne. If you like mens cologne then you will love American Crew Tea Tree Body Lotion. If not, pass this one up, or give it to your other half ladies.

Okay, so we have the scent written out in words easy enough to understand; so let us move on to American Crew Tea Tree Body Lotions performance.

I pressed down on the pump and dispensed more of the lotion.

I then rubbed the lotion in the palms of my hands and started with my legs. The lotions consistency is not to thick, nor is it too thin. It’s a perfect texture for lotion. I rubbed it in and let it sit. The lotion absorbed in about 3 minutes or so.

Thankfully there was no greasy or slick sticky residue left behind, otherwise I would of been jumping in the shower shortly afterward.

My skin was covered in a blanket of moisturization though. It was not a ton of moisturization but it was definitely noted. The moisturized feeling lasted for nearly 2 hours, and then it sort of faded. The scent also faded with it.

Overall:

Although American Crew Tea Tree Body Lotion only moisturized for a semi short period of time, I myself loved it. I loved the designer fragrance it left behind, and I liked how it moisturized my skin without leaving my skin feeling wet or greasy.

I kept one bottle, and gave the other one to my boyfriend. He also loves the lotion and the scent. This is an extremely rare situation because he never ever wears lotion, and catching him rubbing it all around his body was a Kodak moment.

American Crew Tea Tree Body Lotion is a winner in my opinion.
