Start up fees are charged in addition to the monthly/yearly membership fees to this gym called the Cheyenne Family YMCA.
I was told over the phone that the gym memberships begin the 5th of every month, and so those joining this Cheyenne, Wyoming facility before or after the 5th are charged a pro-rated fee for the first month.
Terms
You may cancel your membership at anytime, and you’ll get a pro-rated refund. But if you choose to rejoin again, you must pay the start up fee again. Gym Membership Perks
The following facilities are on hand at the Cheyenne Family YMCA: a Wellness Center/Cardio Room, a therapy pool, hot tub, stretching area, free weights and other strength training equipment, 2 racquetball courts, indoor pool, gym, rooms for group cycling and yoga, dry sauna, and an aerobic studio.
Members get to attend numerous water and fitness exercise classes (like Step Aerobics, Group Cycling, and Pilate’s exercise classes) without having to pay and get reduced rates on other programs offered at this facility like yoga, art, and karate classes.
Members of other YMCA’s in other cities are allowed to use the facilities of this Cheyenne, Wyoming YMCA.
Locker Rooms
There are three locker rooms available here. The Pool Locker Room is near to the pool, hot tub, and sauna with free daily use of the full length lockers and a $60 yearly charge for half length lockers. The Family Locker Room can be used by families and are offered for daily use only for free.
The Adults Only Locker Room has both men’s and women’s locker rooms and requires a $20 key card purchase if members haven’t paid for a yearly locker rental, though the key card is free to those who’ve paid for a yearly locker rental. Full length lockers are for daily use, while men pay $100 per year for half length locker rental for a year, while the ladies pay $60.
Locks are not provided by the YMCA staff.
