Milwaukee, Wisconsin is known for its beer, its bratwurst, the Brewers, the Bucks and its bone chilling winters.
While Milwaukee will never be confused with Las Vegas, Miami or New York City for glitz and adult oriented entertainment, it does have a number of good strip joints.

Silk Milwaukee, along with On the Border (reviewed below), is a high end strip joint and as high end as they come in Milwaukee.
There is a certain ‘ritz factor’ here that, while it never will be confused with Scores, sets it apart from most Milwaukee strip joints.
One of the distinguishing factors of the Silk Milwaukee strip joint is its nightly promotions. Sunday night, for example, is amateur night, Monday night is a night where service industry workers receive discounted drinks, Tuesday night is bikini contest night, Wednesday night is $2.00 beer night, Thursday night is a rock and roll themed night and Friday night is ladies night, where ladies receive free admission and complimentary and discounted drinks. Saturday nights are often bachelor party nights as this is a favorite of Milwaukee area bachelor parties.
Encore Gentlemen’s Club

Encore Gentleman’s Club is nearby to the Milwaukee Brewers’ home stadium, Miller Park. As such, it is a favorite strip joint for Brewers’ fans both before and after the game.
Don’t let the somewhat run down look on the outside of this venerable Milwaukee strip joint fool you. Inside, this is a well kept strip joint with hot dancers and a special attention to the customer. As its name would suggest, Encore invites Milwaukee strip joint aficionados to stay for last call, and the final song, as it’s an experience that is unforgettable.
Encore also offers a solid food menu, with cheeseburgers, steak sandwiches, and a wide variety of appetizers.
The dancers here are hot and friendly. This is NOT a glamorous strip joint; it doesn’t try to be. This is the equivalent of going into your local pub, saying hello and having a beer, except that everybody from the buxom bartender to the hot dancers are going to get you more excited than your typical neighborhood watering hole.
On The Border

On the Border may very well be the most popular strip joint in all of Milwaukee. It has won numerous ‘Best of Milwaukee’ awards and bills itself as ‘Wisconsin’s Premier Gentlemen’s Club’. These are all matters of opinion and taste, of course, but there is no disputing that this is an elite Milwaukee strip joint.
One notable aspect of On the Border is its aggressive marketing to couples. On select nights, couples are allowed in for free and receive substantial discounts on premium alcohol.
As far as the stripper themselves, On the Border strip joint has dancers as hot as any in Milwaukee. The strip joint’s website has a pictorial of its dancers and it is a non-airbrushed and revealing look at the strip joint’s dancers. To me, any strip joint that can present their dancers in an unvarnished fashion obviously has confidence in its employees; and certainly On the Border has every right to.
On the Border pays attention to the little things that make a visit there memorable and safe. For example, it offers a complimentary shuttle and limo service to nearby hotels if you are drinking and do not want to drive home. It also offers a cigar humidor and has a decent menu with a wide selection of food, ranging from pizza to steak sandwiches to great appetizers.
On the Border is also a favorite for bachelor parties in Milwaukee.
Art’s Performing Center

Art’s Performing Center has absolutely zero pretenses about it. This is a place you go when you want to see reasonably attractive women dance nude. There is a small cover, a small drink minimum and not much in terms of extras and ‘bells and whistles. That said, the strippers here are among the most aggressive and direct in Milwaukee. It really depends, of course, what you are looking for. If you are in the mood for a forceful and energetic lap dance, with plenty of contact and a lot of aggressive moves, then Art’s Performing Center is a good choice. If you are in the mood for a more overall ‘experience’, then probably it’s not. Some Milwaukee area residents love the place, some hate it, some hate to love it and some love to hate it. That’s pretty typical of an out of the way, no frills strip joint, in Milwaukee or wherever else.
So if you live in Milwaukee or are visiting on business, if you can find the time to visit one of these fun strip joints, you likely will be happy you did.
