A block further down the road is a restaurant I recently stumbled upon, Rodeo . Coined as ‘traditional southern cuisine’ I was inspired by their short, but interesting list of beers, microbrews, and organic brews. How about a beer-ga-rita? The fresh Guacamole with crabmeat is worth mentioning, and enjoying again. As well as the piece-de-resistance: the Trio of Macaroni and Cheese: a sharp cheddar and bacon Mac and Cheese that melts in your mouth; a Southwest Mac and Cheese that has a nice smokey bite from roasted pablano peppers; and a smoked Gouda Mac well worth the calories.
After an eventful and satisfying night out on the town, heading back to the Station is always a breeze, as it is situated a block east of 5-points: the intersection of 5 different local thru-ways and meeting place for many. Wilton Station is a 6 minute ride to the ocean, 5 minutes from Downtown Fort Lauderdale, and 15 minutes from the Fort Lauderdale Airport.
