World-renowned British alternative rock band, Coldplay, has earned many major musical awards including 3 Grammy’s and achieved record-breaking sales for their albums and spun numerous hit songs. Their success is enviable to say the least.
Coldplay consists of band members Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. The group came together during their college years at the University College London and formed Coldplay in 1996. To this day, the band has retained the same members. To keep the band together, they vowed to abide by the rules of democracy, equal profit sharing and made a pledge to kick-out anybody found using hard drugs.
Coldplay seems to be a great band to support. Aside from the great music they make, they are known for actively supporting different social and political causes and charities.
