Top Video Arcades in Orlando, Florida – From A Mom’s Point of View

Arcade Games, Go Karts

We’ve all had moments no matter what our social status where we enjoy letting loose and playing games. What better way to forget your worries of everyday life, then to dive into the world of gaming. Arcades are just the place to do so, offering a variety of fun for anyone to enjoy. They have games both the young and old can indulge in.

Fun Spot:

This is the largest video arcade in all of central Florida featuring an amazing two story arcade filled with many different games. The second story is all-inclusive and you can play as much as you want for a flat entree fee into the building. The games are a lot of fun, however they can get old pretty quick and some of them are really outdated. They have a lot of console games, as well as classics such as Galaga and Pack-man. The first floor I find much more entertaining, however it is coin operated so there is a fee for each game. There is a much better variety and they will give you tickets you can spend at a prize shop. They also have slot machines where you can try your luck at winning more tokens to play with.

Some other really fun attractions they have are go-karts, bumper boats, sky coaster, and snack bar.

Prices:
Go-Kart Armband – $34.95 (includes: Unlimited Go-Karts, rides, and over 60 arcade games)
Ride Armband – $24.95 (includes: unlimited access to 13 rides and over 60 arcade games)
Kidspot Armband – $14.95 (includes: unlimited access to 7 Preschool rides and over 60 arcade games)
Chaperon Armband – $4.95 (Allows anyone age 18+ to drive the Go-Karts for any child that does not meet the height or age requirements. Children ride in the passenger seat)

Upon entering you’ll have different “zones” to choose from:
Explore Zone – a virtual Adventure land
Score Zone – for superhero quests
Create Zone – for an artistic endeavor
Replay Zone – for nostalgic fun

Some of the awesome games you can expect to find here include:

Pirates of the Caribbean – Battle for Buccaneer Gold: Put on your headpiece to inhabit a world booming with swashbuckling action. Steer your ship, fire cannons at marauding buccaneers, and race for gold!

Invasion! An Extra TERRORestrial Alien Encounter: Launch into the cosmos aboard your own virtual-reality spaceship. Rescue humans kidnapped by aliens to become a hero in this breathtaking outer space adventure.

The facility is simply incredible and one-of-a-kind, a must see for game enthusiasts.

Magical Midway:

This park is similar to Fun Spot, except it is a bit smaller. What sets this apart is the Star Flyer thrill ride; a new addition thrill ride that takes you up in a chair over 230ft into the air at 54mph. It is the only tower ride of its kind in the entire United States.

The arcade at Magical Midway is good, but has less of a selection than Fun Spot offers. All games at this facility are coin operated.
