Upon my recent trip to Wichita, Kansas, I was worried about what would be available for the entire family. Little did I know that there were numerous fun things to do while there and the kids wouldn’t get bored. There are many things to do however these are my favorite choices that I think your entire family will also enjoy.
1. Wild West World, LLC

Apparently this just opened in May however it is still as exciting as the first day it opened. It has thrill rides for all ages, different entertainment venues throughout the day and different types of food choices. It is almost like a theme park for cowboys, which was really exciting for all the kids going there.
2. Rock River Rapids
7300 N. Wild West Dr.

This is a really exciting water park that is fit for all ages. It has the slow lazy river that you can glide in tubes, 50 meter lap pool, different kiosks for food and a fantastic tree house-themed water spray ground. Tickets are all under $10.00 each, depending on the age.
3. Pump It Up

This is an extremely fun place for parties if you will be going in a large group. You can rent an entire room of inflatable “rides”. It is entirely indoors and can be reserved online or by calling the number above.
5. Joyland Amusement Park

This is said to be the oldest amusement park in the city, about fifty years old. It contains a wooden roller coaster, a train, a western town, and a water ride among other rides.
6. Laser Quest

This is not like your normal laser-tag. It is a multi-level arena that is like a combination of laser tag and hide-n-seek. It is amazing how fast kids get hooked on this place!
8. All Star Sports

This is another location that the entire family can enjoy together. It is almost like a county fair. It has bumper boats, laser tag, go-karts, miniature golf and so much more.
9. Wichita Ice Center

This is a great place to go on those hot summer days. It is open to the public and anyone can skate, play hockey, speed skate, broomball and a few other things.
10. The Alley

This is a fantastic bowling alley that is clean and fun for the entire family. It is not only bowling though, it also has go-karts and food services.
