“Invitation Only Shopping” is the latest way for trendsetters to shop at bargain prices. Invitation only shopping clubs allow shoppers to buy designer clothing and other luxurious goods and experiences at bargain prices. Although Gilt Groupe is in the business of selling luxury goods, the prices are discounted enough usually to make them affordable to the average consumer. The sales typically last 2-4 days depending on the products and how they are selling

Ideeli is an invitation only shopping site exclusively sells designer clothing, home, and beauty items. Ideeli is free for everyone but if you want to ensure that you can get your hands on the best deal they have different upgrades that would require payment. The only advantage of paying is getting to shop sales before other consumers.
Rue La La
Rue La La is following the trends set by Gilt Groupe by expanding their business to include travel and luxury goods for the home. Rue LaLa is very similar to the other sites except for the fact they carry products that are not as high-end as the other sites. RueLaLa definitely carries luxury goods but you will not see $10,000 jewelry on this site.
In order to fully enjoy the “invitation only shopping” experience, I highly recommend joining Rue La La, ideeli, and Gilt Groupe to enjoy the variety of selections. Each site offers unique items that are rarely seen in the department stores. All of the sites are completely free to join; however, you must be invited by an existing member or sit on a waiting list. These sites are definitely worth joining if you enjoy designer clothing, accessories, etc. and you want to stay within your budget.
